Welcome to Autumn Rehab

I had a stroke three weeks ago. I could hardly do anything for myself. The therapist taught me how to do everything all over again. I owe my progress to them. I will be going home in a few days and plan to come back as an outpatient to finish my therapy.

The therapists at Autumn Rehab helped me be able to walk again and now I am ready to go home. I couldn't ask for better care.

My husband broke his hip when we were working in our yard. He stayed in the hospital a few days before he was transfered to Autumn Care. He was weak and needed a lot of help to walk and even get dressesed. The nurses and therapists were very caring and allowed me to participate in his therapy, so I would know what to do at home.

I have COPD and was in the hospital for about a week. When I came to Autumn Rehab, I was coughing everytime I tried to drink something and I was not able to stand up by my self. The physical therapist helped me walk again and the speech pathologist worked with me on ways to drink without coughing. I am going home tomorrow.
